Baghdad, March 27 (QNA) - The Iraqi Defense Ministry announced today the downing of a drone in Kirkuk province, northern Iraq, with no casualties reported.

In a statement, the ministry said that an unidentified drone was detected flying at a low altitude within the area of ​​responsibility of the Kirkuk Operations Command, adding that its forces immediately engaged the drone.

The ministry noted that following the incident, relevant authorities went to the crash site to take the necessary technical measures. (QNA)
