Two Killed, Three Injured by Shrapnel from Intercepted Ballistic Missile in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, March 26 (QNA) - The Abu Dhabi Media Office announced that two individuals of Pakistani and Indian nationality killed and that three individuals of Emirati, Jordanian and Indian nationality sustained injuries after debris from a successfully intercepted ballistic missile fell on Sweihan Road in Abu Dhabi.
In a statement posted on X, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said that the incident was caused by falling shrapnel following the successful interception of a ballistic missile by air defense systems, saying that the injuries range from serious to moderate.
It also noted that a number of vehicles were damaged in the incident, calling for obtaining information only from official sources and for people to avoid spreading rumors or unreliable information. (QNA)
