Doha, March 25 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 139.59 points, or 1.38 percent, to settle at 10,290.29 points.

During the session, a total of 144,401,319 shares were traded, with a value of QAR 511,788,428.987, through 36,964 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 37 companies advanced, while 14 declined, and three companies remained unchanged.

At the close, the market capitalization stood at QAR 607,205,521,532.928, compared to QAR 600,176,380,093.424 in the previous session. (QNA)
