Beirut, March 25 (QNA) - Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji discussed in a phone call today with EU Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Suica, the latest developments on the ground in Lebanon, particularly the rapidly escalating situation in southern Lebanon.

During the call, the European official affirmed the EU's full support for Lebanon and its readiness to provide necessary humanitarian assistance under the current exceptional circumstances.

For his part, the Lebanese foreign minister briefed the European Commissioner on the efforts undertaken by the Lebanese government to de-escalate the situation, implement the decision to restrict weapons to the state, and maintain internal stability. (QNA)
