Doha, March 25 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Wednesday from HE President of the friendly Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.

At the beginning of the call, HH the Amir and HE the Indonesian President exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.

HE the President also extended his profound condolences to HH the Amir over the martyrs of the Qatar Armed Forces whose helicopter crash accident occurred in the national territorial waters.

The Indonesian President reiterated that his country condemns the military escalation, confirming its readiness to contribute to the ongoing de-escalation efforts in the region.

For his part, HH the Amir extended his thanks and appreciation to HE the Indonesian President for his heartfelt sentiments, as well as his support and solidarity.

Both sides underscored the importance of ramping up regional and global efforts to achieve an immediate cessation of military escalation, prioritizing diplomatic solutions to end the conflict and strengthen regional and global peace and stability. (QNA)
