Riyadh, March 24 (QNA) - The World Economic Forum announced that the Global Collaboration and Growth Meeting, which had been planned for April 2026 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will be rescheduled.

In its statement on Tuesday, the Forum highlighted that this step came after close consultations with the Ministry of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the current regional developments, as well as stemming from a commitment to convening the meeting under conditions that ensure its full strategic impact.

For its part, the Saudi Ministry of Economy and Planning said that the decision was taken following consultations between it and the Forum, held at the latter's request, as a result of the ongoing developments in the region.

The Ministry affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has made comprehensive preparations to host the meeting and remains fully equipped to convene it.

It added that it looks forward to hosting the Global Collaboration and Growth Meeting at a date to be announced in due course. (QNA)
