Abu Dhabi, March 24 (QNA) - HH President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke on the phone Tuesday with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to discuss evolving developments in the region.

The two sides also addressed the implications of mounting military actions on regional and global security and stability, as well as their fallout on international shipping and navigation and the global economy.

Their discussions covered the ongoing Iranian attacks against the UAE and several countries in the region, targeting civilians and civilian facilities and infrastructure, as well as running afoul of the sovereignty of those nations, international laws and norms, and undermining regional and international security and stability.

Both sides underscored that it is vitally important to contain the escalation, cease military operations, and give serious dialogue and diplomatic solutions, with overriding priority to address pending issues and safeguard the region’s security and stability. (QNA)
