Two Killed, One Wounded in Israeli Airstrike in Southern Lebanon
Beirut, March 24 (QNA) - Two people were killed and one wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a house in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, Lebanese state media reported.
Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) said Israeli warplanes struck a house in the Mieh Mieh refugee camp, killing two people and wounding another.
Israeli warplanes also carried out strikes on a fuel station in the town of Kfar Tibnit, the Qaqaiyat al-Jisr road, an agricultural area near a public housing complex in Tyre, the town of Mahrouna, and a stone-cutting factory. There were no immediate reports of casualties from those strikes.
Earlier in the day, Israeli forces carried out a series of attacks across eastern and southern Lebanon, including airstrikes, incursions and shelling.
The death toll from Israeli strikes on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 1,039, with 2,876 wounded, according to official figures. (QNA)
