Doha, March 24 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received on Tuesday a phone call from HE President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

At the outset of the call, HH the Amir and HE the Turkish President exchanged condolences for the martyrs of Qatar's Armed Forces helicopter crash in Qatar's territorial waters, wishing them mercy and to inspire their families with patience and solace.

The call also dealt with the latest developments in the region and the efforts made towards de-escalating and boosting stability. HH the Amir thanked HE the Turkish President for Turkiye's efforts to stop the military escalation in the region.

The two sides exchanged views on continuing coordination and dialogue between the two countries to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint interests. (QNA)
