Doha, March 24 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call Tuesday from HE Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

At the outset of the call, HE the Greek Prime Minister renewed his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar and inquired about the situation, particularly in light of the Iranian aggression against Qatar and a number of countries in the region.

He commended Qatar's role and diplomatic efforts as a trusted partner in supporting regional stability and enhancing energy security.

For his part, HH the Amir praised the friendly relations between the State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic, as well as the Republic's supportive positions in this regard.

The call also addressed the latest developments in the region, particularly the recent escalation in Lebanon, where both sides exchanged views on ways to de-escalate tensions and create conducive conditions for achieving security and stability in Lebanon. (QNA)
