Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Phone Call from Turkish Foreign Minister

Doha, March 23 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye Hakan Fidan.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and HE the Turkish Foreign Minister exchanged condolences over the martyrs from the Qatar Armed Forces and the Qatar-Turkiye joint forces, as well as two Turkish civilian collaborators, following a helicopter crash in Qatari territorial waters caused by a technical malfunction while carrying out a routine mission.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments related to the ongoing military escalation in the region and its serious repercussions for regional and international security and stability, in addition to efforts aimed at resolving disputes through peaceful means.
Both sides underscored the importance of intensifying coordination and joint efforts to immediately halt escalatory actions, return to the negotiating table, and prioritize dialogue and wisdom to contain the crisis. They further emphasized the need to safeguard global energy security, ensure freedom of navigation, protect the environment, and preserve regional stability. (QNA)
