Baghdad, March 23 (QNA) - President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, discussed avenues for ceasing the war in the Middle East and fears of the spillover of military escalation into the region in a phone call Monday with Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen.

Both sides shared their perspectives on the latest developments and heightened tensions in the region, highlighting the dangerous fallout of this war on security and stability, as well as the economic situation in the region and the world.

They agreed to ramp up efforts to halt the war and resolve problems and disputes through peaceful means. (QNA)
