Cairo, March 23 (QNA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed developments in the Middle East and bilateral relations in a telephone call Monday with his Indonesian counterpart, Prabowo Subianto.

During the call, both leaders addressed ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region and contain their fallout, particularly given its adverse economic impact on regional and global stability, the Egyptian Presidency said in a statement.

In addition, both presidents recognized the historic strategic relationship between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of continuing to advance it across a variety of fields. (QNA)
