Doha, March 18 (QNA) - The Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) announced the schedule for the resumption of the semi-final stage of the Qatar Men's Basketball League for the 2025–2026 season, after the completion of the four qualified teams for the “Final Four,” marking the start of the decisive phase of the championship.

The semi-final stage will be staged at Al Gharafa Club Hall. Matches will be held without spectators, with attendance limited to the participating teams, their administrative and technical staff, the QBF's supervisory staff, and the referees' committee, in order to safeguard the health of all participants and ensure the smooth conduct of the competition.

The playoff stage (knockout rounds) will open strongly with the first round on March 23, 2026. The opening game will feature Al Rayyan, the league leader, against Al Ahli, who secured third place and qualified through the “Play-In” stage. This will be followed by a highly anticipated clash between Al Arabi, the runner-up and defending champion, and Al Sadd, who finished fourth and also advanced via the “Play-In” stage.

The semi-final action continues with the second round on March 26, as Al Sadd face Al Arabi, followed by Al Ahli against Al Rayyan.

Semi-final matches will be played under a best-of-three format, with the team achieving two victories advancing to the final to compete for the league title. If both teams are tied with one win each, a decisive third round will be held on March 28. On that day, Al Rayyan will meet Al Ahli, followed by Al Arabi against Al Sadd.

If qualification is decided within the first two rounds, the third match will not be played. The league season will conclude on Saturday, March 28, 2026. (QNA)
