Egyptian President, Sultan of Oman Affirm Continued Coordination to Advance De-escalation Efforts
Cairo, March 18 (QNA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman affirmed the importance of continued consultations and coordination to advance de-escalation efforts and restore regional stability, during a phone call on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Presidency, President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt's full support for the stability and sovereignty of the Sultanate of Oman and all GCC states under the current circumstances, while strongly condemning the Iranian attacks targeting brotherly Arab countries.
He further emphasized the unity of national security between Egypt and the GCC states, underscoring the importance of strengthening joint Arab action to address escalating regional challenges and advancing the concept of collective Arab national security to safeguard the sovereignty and stability of Arab nations.
For his part, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq expressed his appreciation to President El-Sisi, commending Egypt's steadfast support for the security and stability of the GCC states. (QNA)
