HH the Amir Receives Phone Call from New Zealand's Prime Minister
Doha, March 12 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Thursday from HE Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon.
At the outset of the call, HE the Prime Minister inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar in light of the ongoing Iranian aggression, stressing his country's condemnation of this aggression against Qatar and the countries of the region.
The Prime Minister commended the wise leadership of HH the Amir and Qatar's success in managing the crisis. He also praised the measures taken by the State of Qatar to ensure the safety and security of all those residing on its territory, including New Zealand citizens.
In turn, HH the Amir voiced his thanks and appreciation to HE the Prime Minister for his sincere sentiments, noting the strong relations between the two countries.
Both sides stressed the importance of an immediate halt to the escalation and prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic means to address outstanding issues, thereby preserving the security and stability of the region. (QNA)
