UAE Defense Ministry Reports Tracking 9 Iranian Ballistic Missiles and 35 Drones
Abu Dhabi, March 10 (QNA) - The UAE Defense Ministry announced that its air defenses tracked nine ballistic missiles on Tuesday, of which eight were vaporized, while one slammed into the sea.
It added that 35 drones were also tracked, of which 26 were destroyed, with nine drones slamming into the country’s territory.
Since the start of the Iranian assault, 262 ballistic missiles have been tracked, of which 241 were vaporized, while 19 fell in the sea and two fell within the country’s territory, the Ministry highlighted.
The Ministry added that 1,475 drones had also been tracked, of which 1,385 were intercepted, while 90 drones slammed into the country’s territory. It noted that eight loitering missiles had been tracked and knocked out.
As such, the Ministry stressed that these assaults resulted in six deaths and 122 minor and moderate injuries, confirming that it is fully ready to deal with any threats and resolutely hold off anything that intends to destabilize state security, in pursuit of protecting the nation’s sovereignty, security, stability, interests, and national gains.
