Muscat, March 10 (QNA) – Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman discussed with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, the current military escalation in the region and its worrying repercussions on the security and stability of nations in a telephone call Tuesday.

Both sides stressed the importance of adhering to the rules of international law along with the call to halt the ongoing conflict and return to dialogue and diplomacy to address its root causes in a way that ensures the protection of peoples and preserves regional and international stability.(QNA)
