Doha, March 09 (QNA) - Qatar Airways has announced a limited flight schedule over the coming days after receiving temporary authorization to operate specific routes following recent disruptions.

The airline said the decision came after the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority approved restricted operating corridors, allowing some flights to resume to help affected passengers continue their journeys.

In a statement, the Doha-based carrier said the temporary schedule aims to support travelers impacted by the disruption and help reunite them with family and friends as quickly and safely as possible.

Flights departing from Hamad International Airport in Doha on March 10 will include services to several international destinations, including Cairo, London, Jeddah, Manila, Istanbul, Mumbai, Delhi, Nairobi, Madrid, Frankfurt, Colombo, Milan and Moscow, among others.

Additional flights scheduled for March 11 will connect Doha with destinations including Toronto, Dallas, Paris, Rome, Hong Kong, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne.

The airline also confirmed a number of inbound flights to Doha over the same period from cities including Seoul, Moscow, London, Delhi, Madrid, Islamabad, Beijing, Perth, Nairobi and Istanbul, with additional arrivals scheduled through March 12.

Qatar Airways stressed that the flights do not represent a full resumption of normal commercial operations, but are intended to ease disruption and assist stranded passengers.

The airline advised travelers to check the latest updates through its website or mobile application, or contact their travel agent before heading to the airport. Passengers were also asked not to travel to the airport unless they hold a confirmed ticket for their flight.

Qatar Airways said the safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew remain its highest priority, apologizing for the disruption and thanking travelers for their patience.

The airline said a further update on operations is expected later on March 10. (QNA)
