Muscat, March 10 (QNA) – The Sultanate of Oman condemned Tuesday the attack targeting the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Iraqi Kurdistan, affirming that it constitutes a violation of diplomatic laws and norms that guarantee the protection of diplomatic missions and premises.

In a statement, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its solidarity with the UAE and the measures it is taking to safeguard its diplomatic missions and ensure their security and stability, reiterating its position rejecting all forms of violence, regardless of their motives.

The UAE Consulate General in Iraqi Kurdistan was previously targeted by a drone attack, resulting in collateral damage but no injuries. (QNA)
