3 People Killed in Israeli Airstrike in Southern Lebanon
Beirut, February 09 (QNA) - Three people were killed on Monday in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli entity targeting southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement that the Israeli entity targeted the town of Yanouh in the Tyre District of southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of three Lebanese nationals, including a three-year-old child.
A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon entered into force on Nov. 27, 2024. The agreement stipulated the withdrawal of Israeli entity forces from border villages and towns within 60 days. Subsequently, the Lebanese government approved an extension of the deadline until Feb. 18.
