Dubai Stem Cell Congress Kicks Off, with Participation of Experts from Qatar
Dubai, February 07 (QNA) - The fourth edition of Dubai Stem Cell Congress kicked off Saturday, with the participation of experts from Qatar and more than 500 physicians and specialists, including 26 stem cell experts from around the world.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Fatma Alhashimi, Congress Chairperson and CEO of First Stem Cell and Genomics Laboratory, stated that this congress represents a global platform that brings together researchers and industry leaders to exchange knowledge, enhance collaboration, and accelerate innovation, thus contributing to strengthening Dubai and the Middle East's position at the forefront of global biomedical advancements.
The sessions of the two-day congress focus on the latest research in stem cell therapy and modern regenerative medicine treatments and their impact on developing treatment technologies, Dr. Alhashimi noted, anticipating that this type of treatment will become an effective option for treating many intractable diseases in the coming years.
The congress includes six specialized workshops on the latest research and developments in the field of stem cells, in addition to an awareness session on the latest technologies and successful clinical trials. (QNA)
