Riyadh, February 6 (QNA) - Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Mohammed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed the GCC's hope today that the consultations between the United States and Iran will yield positive results that contribute to de-escalation and strengthen security and stability in the region.

In a statement, Albudaiwi welcomed the round of talks held Friday between the United States and Iran, commending the Sultanate of Oman for hosting these talks and supporting regional and international dialogue and understanding.
