QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, February 05 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 15.79 points, or 0.14%, at the start of trading on Thursday, falling to 11369 points from the previous session's close, under pressure from four sectors.
The market was supported by positive performance in Insurance (+0.19آ %), and Transportation (+0.09%). Industrials was unchanged (0.00%). The performance for the rest of sectors were negative, as Banks and Financial Services went down (-0.14%), Real Estate (-0.30%), Consumer Goods and Services by (-0.32%), Telecoms (-0.37%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 44.744 million, with 12.126 million shares traded across 2223 transactions. (QNA)
