Brussels, February 5 (QNA) - European stock indices closed lower across the board Thursday after the European Central Bank (ECB) kept interest rates unchanged.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell 6.59 points, or 1.07 percent, to close at 611.53 points.

The French CAC 40 index also declined, dropping 23.99 points, or 0.29 percent, to close at 8238.17 points.

The British FTSE 100 index fell 93.12 points, or 0.90 percent, to close at 10309.22 points.

The German DAX index fell by 154.46 points, or 0.63 percent, to close at 24,448.58 points. (QNA)
