Gulf Security Officials Praise Qatar's High Readiness in Hosting "Gulf Security 4" Exercise

Doha, February 04 (QNA) - Several senior officials from the security and law enforcement agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) praised the joint Gulf security exercise, "Gulf Security 4," hosted by the State of Qatar, describing it as a clear demonstration of the high operational readiness of GCC security agencies.

Officials participating in the closing day emphasized that the exercise represents an important milestone in enhancing preparedness, improving the efficiency of law enforcement personnel, and serving as a key pillar for strengthening coordination, integrating efforts, and unifying security concepts and strategic visions.

They commended Qatar's extensive efforts in hosting this edition of the exercise, providing high-level field facilities and support, which reflect the depth of security cooperation and integration among GCC states.

Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the "Gulf Security 4" Exercise in Kuwait Brigadier General Abdullah Ahmed Al Otaibi stated that the exercise served as an advanced model of joint Gulf security operations, clearly reflecting the high level of operational readiness, precise coordination, and professional performance of GCC security agencies.

He said that the practical field scenarios executed during the exercise contributed to testing operational plans and enhancing the capacity to respond to various security challenges, strengthening the ability of Gulf security agencies to operate jointly and efficiently under different conditions.

Brigadier General Al Otaibi highlighted that the participation of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior forces was commendable, reflecting advanced training, high readiness, and exceptional field capabilities, alongside their counterparts from other GCC states.

He confirmed that the results achieved demonstrate the exercise's success in accomplishing its strategic objectives and enhancing the security and stability framework across the GCC.

He expressed his appreciation to Qatar for the distinguished hosting and organization of the exercise and for providing facilities that contributed to the success of "Gulf Security 4," reflecting the depth of security cooperation and integration among GCC states.

Commander of the UAE participating forces Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al Ahmad confirmed that "Gulf Security 4" served as an important platform to enhance preparedness and improve the efficiency of law enforcement personnel, given the realistic field scenarios that facilitated experience exchange and the standardization of operational procedures among GCC security agencies, in line with shared security challenges.

He praised Qatar's efforts in hosting and organizing the exercise, providing a comprehensive training environment that contributed to its successful execution and the achievement of its objectives.

He added that joint GCC security exercises serve as a key foundation for enhancing coordination, integrating efforts, and unifying security concepts and strategic visions, thereby supporting collective security and strengthening the readiness of security agencies to efficiently address various conditions and scenarios.

Commander of the Bahraini forces Colonel Munther Sabah Sayadi stated that Bahrain's participation reflects its ongoing commitment to enhancing joint security operations among GCC states and strengthening coordination at all levels.

He noted that Bahrain's participation in the exercise goes beyond a symbolic presence, representing a genuine commitment to developing operational readiness and efficiency of its security forces, and continuing collaboration with neighboring states to strengthen collective capabilities in addressing potential regional security challenges.

He explained that the exercise provides an important opportunity to enhance the exchange of expertise and field practices among participating GCC security agencies, enabling joint training that aims to develop performance, refine skills, and standardize operational procedures across multiple environments.

Colonel Sayadi emphasized that executing the exercise's various scenarios offers a real opportunity to test plans and new ideas, and assess coordination levels among participating teams, aiming to achieve high levels of professionalism and efficiency.

He added that Bahrain's participation also reflects its firm commitment to supporting security and stability in the Gulf region and its continuous efforts to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and close cooperation among security forces of GCC states.

He confirmed that the joint security efforts in such exercises enhance the ability to respond quickly and effectively to potential threats, underscoring the shared objectives and destiny uniting GCC states and supporting regional security and stability.

He expressed hope that the results of the exercise will contribute to advancing joint security operations, developing the skills and capabilities of all participating teams, positively impacting the protection of citizens and national assets, and achieving the highest standards of safety and security for Gulf populations.
