Qatar Central Bank Governor Participates in a Session Titled "Economic Transformation in the Gulf States" at World Government Summit in Dubai
Dubai, February 03 (QNA) - HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank, Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani, participated Tuesday in a session jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance of the United Arab Emirates and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), titled "Economic Transformation in the Gulf States: Innovative Finance and the Role of Fiscal and Monetary Policies."
The session was held as part of the World Governments Summit, held from Feb. 3 to 5, 2026, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The session featured the participation of HE Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohamedآ Al Budaiwi, and HE Head of the Cyber Security Council (CSC) for the UAE Government, Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti.
The World Government Summit 2026 began today under the theme "Shaping Future Governments," drawing the largest international participation in the summit's history. The gathering brought together heads of state, government leaders, policymakers, and experts from across the globe. (QNA)
