Over 18,500 Patients in Gaza Lack Urgent Specialized Care, WHO Says
Geneva, February 03 (QNA) - WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus emphasized the need for rapid rehabilitation, reconstruction, medical supply support, and facility repairs to reduce reliance on medical evacuations after more than two years of continuous Israeli attacks.
He also called for the immediate reopening of patient referral pathways to the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, to ensure life-saving care. Yesterday, WHO assisted in the medical evacuation of 5 patients and 7 companions via the Rafah crossing. (QNA)
