Israeli Occupation Conducts Incursions in Northern, Southern Quneitra, Arrests Two Syrian Youths
Damascus, February 02 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces on Monday arrested two individuals from the village of Saida Al Hanut in southern Quneitra countryside while they were herding sheep west of the village, and took them into the occupied territories.
No information has been released regarding the reasons for the arrests or the whereabouts of the detainees.
The occupation forces also conducted an incursion along the road connecting Jibata Al Khashab and Ufania villages in northern Quneitra countryside, where they set up a checkpoint to search passersby.
The Israeli occupation continues its attacks in southern Syria through incursions, raids, arrests, and land bulldozing, in clear violation of Syrian sovereignty and international law.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territories, stressing that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and carry no legal effect, while urging the international community to fulfill its responsibilities, deter the occupation’s practices, and ensure its full withdrawal from Syrian lands.
