Doha, February 03 (QNA) - Assistant President for Performance and Compliance Oversight at the State Audit Bureau Jassim Al Mannai said that the Bureau's participation in Web Summit Qatar 2026 underscores its strategic transition toward digital transformation and pursuit of smart solutions in oversight operations, thereby contributing to supporting oversight decisions based on unified auditing standards.

Through this participation, the Bureau is committed to capitalizing on cutting-edge technologies, particularly artificial intelligence and machine learning, in unpacking huge volumes of data, as well as accelerating access to fraud and unknown pattern detection indicators, Al Mannai told Qatar News Agency (QNA).

These technologies, Al Mannai underlined, reinforce oversight operations. He indicated that, through this participation, the Bureau unveiled a new smart platform for auditing usecases, unpacking big data, and identifying underlying fraud risks. He also pointed out that the platform has sophisticated analytical tools and AI-powered technologies and machine learning, to enable auditors to review unlimited quantities of data to extract risk and detect fraud, all presented through interactive dashboards.

Al Mannai said the Bureau intends to develop the platform further in the future by enhancing the data integration and sharing capabilities.

Al Mannai highlighted the pivotal role played by AI, machine learning, and data analytics as key tools to support proactive oversight, enhance the ability to detect risks, and improve the quality of audit and oversight decisions, while stressing the importance of governance and the responsible use of these technologies.

He noted that the Bureau’s participation in the Summit reaffirms its role in developing the oversight system, leveraging modern technologies to increase audit efficiency, and achieve the highest levels of compliance and transparency. (QNA)
