Strong Turnout on Al Razji 2026 Heritage Events at Darb Al Saai
Doha, February 27 (QNA) - The "Al Razji 2026" heritage event organized by the Ministry of Culture at its permanent Darb Al Saai venue in the Umm Salal area continues until March 3, with the aim of reviving cultural heritage, celebrating traditional Qatari customs, and offering a Ramadan experience that embodies the authenticity of the past and Qatar's time-honored heritage.
The events have witnessed a large turnout of citizens, residents, and visitors. Families were particularly prominent, bringing their children to enjoy the activities amidst a distinctive heritage atmosphere.
Abdulaziz Al Buhaishim, a researcher in Qatari history and heritage, praised the events that celebrate authentic Qatari heritage, the diversity of participating exhibitions, shops, and organizations, and the enthusiastic public response.
At the heart of this heritage scene, the interactive 'Al Razji competition', presented by media personality Iman Al Kaabi, emerged amidst a vibrant Ramadan atmosphere. The competition successfully attracted significant engagement from audiences of all ages, transforming the visit into a truly participatory experience.
Al Kaabi emphasized that the Al Razji competition transcends mere entertainment, serving as a bridge of knowledge connecting contemporary generations to their authentic roots. She pointed out that the platform's objective is to strengthen national identity among children and youth, transforming heritage information into a live and competitive experience. This is embodied in the Al Razji event, which preserves customs and traditions in a modern and innovative manner.
As part of the Al Razji activities, artist Mohammed Hassan Al Mohammadi presented a daily heritage segment for children.
Various activities continue daily from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. The workshops are witnessing a remarkable turnout for learning and acquiring traditional craft skills.
Visitors also explore quality art exhibitions, including a photography exhibition and the rare collections exhibition from the Khaled Al Ajmi museum, in addition to specialized workshops on Grandparents' Skills in the Hands of Grandchildren, making Al Razji 2026 an integrated destination that combines learning and entertainment during the holy month.
