Egypt, Saudi FMs Discuss Regional Issues, Bilateral Ties
Cairo, February 27 (QNA) - Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty discussed regional developments and ways to strengthen bilateral relations during a phone call with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the two ministers stressed the importance of de-escalation and containing tensions in the region, and prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic channels in light of the current regional circumstances.
The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in Sudan, the Gaza Strip, Libya, and the Horn of Africa, along with ongoing efforts aimed at preserving regional security and stability. (QNA)
