Doha, February 27 (QNA) - Al Shamal coach David Prats has expressed great confidence in his team to deliver their best against Qatar SC in their match tomorrow within 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 17.

Speaking ahead of their match today, Prats said: "We are expecting a tough match against a strong and well-organized team with talented players. We faced Qatar SC a few days ago in the Amir Cup, but this match will certainly be different in a different competition, and we must be ready.

"The team has been working hard recently, emphasizing their readiness for the match and expressing my confidence in the players' ability to perform at their best to continue their impressive run this season," said Prats.

For his part, Qatar SC assistant coach Miguel Andreu emphasized that the match against Al Shamal will be difficult, stressing the importance of focus and delivering a strong performance to secure a victory.

He added that they are looking forward to performing at the required level to ensure that they emerge victorious and continue collecting three points, which will be a significant boost to their position in the standings.

He pointed out that the match against Al Shamal has its own unique character and is always different, given both teams' desire to maintain positive results and climb higher in the league table.

The Qatar SC coach noted that the upcoming stage of the league competition is of great importance and requires the highest level of focus, affirming that the team is approaching the tournament one step at a time, with the goal in every match being to achieve victory and secure three points.

He considered the victory in the previous round against Al Shahaniya as a motivating factor for continuing the winning streak, indicating that the team will continue working to achieve the best possible results in the remaining matches of the tournament. (QNA)
