QSE Drops 0.17% at Start of Trading
Doha, February 26 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index dropped 19.42 points, or 0.17%, at the start of Thursday's trading, down to 11,251 points compared to the previous session's closing.
The market was weighed down by declines across four sectors: Telecoms (-0.12%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.20%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.29%), and Real Estate (-0.86%). Meanwhile, the performance was positive for Industrials (+0.23%), Insurance (+0.22%), and Transportation (+0.06%).
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 50.957 million, with 21.960 million shares traded in 3,518 transactions. (QNA)
