Baghdad, February 23 (QNA) - Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed on Monday with US Presidential Envoy Thomas Barrak, who is visiting Baghdad, ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation across various sectors.

The two sides also reviewed several regional issues of shared interest.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein warned of the risks of any potential war and its possible repercussions on the region. He reaffirmed Iraq's support for peaceful solutions and expressed backing for the upcoming negotiation round between the United States and Iran, scheduled to be held in Geneva with Omani mediation.
