Two Palestinians Killed, Three Others Wounded by Israeli Fire in Khan Younis, Jabalia
Gaza, February 21 (QNA) - Two Palestinians were killed and three others wounded today by Israeli shelling and gunfire, as the Israeli army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement by launching airstrikes and artillery bombardments in the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that a Palestinian was killed by an Israeli drone strike in the Qizan Al-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Another Palestinian was killed when an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on him in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip. The sources also reported that three other Palestinians were wounded by Israeli army gunfire after being shot at the end of Omar Al-Mukhtar Street, east of Gaza City.
Israeli forces carried out shelling and gunfire in several areas of the Gaza Strip. Israeli military vehicles opened fire and warplanes launched airstrikes east of Khan Younis and north of Gaza City, while artillery shelled the al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
The Israeli entity continues to violate the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, as it continuously launches airstrikes and artillery shelling on various parts of the Gaza Strip and carries out assassinations, which have so far resulted in the martyrdom of 611 Palestinians and the injury of approximately 1,630 others, according to the Ministry of Health's latest statistical report.
