Brussels, February 20 (QNA) - European stock indices closed higher on Friday.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.83 percent to 630.56 points.

The German DAX index climbed 0.81 percent to 25,246.80 points.

The French CAC 40 index gained 1.39 percent to 8,515.49 points.

The British FTSE 100 index rose 0.56 percent to 10,686.89 points. (QNA)
