QSE Drops 0.21% at Start of Trading
Doha, February 18 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index dropped 23.36 points, or 0.21%, at the start of Wednesday's trading, down to the level of 11,339 points compared to the previous session's closing.
The market was weighed down by declines across four sectors: Real Estate (-0.05%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.09%), Telecoms (-0.16%), and Banks and Financial Services (-0.37%). Meanwhile, the performance was positive for Insurance by (+1.15%), Transportation by (+0.78%), and Industrials by (+0.36%).
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 38.309 million, with 14.914 million shares traded in 2,330 transactions. (QNA)
