Algiers, February 17 (QNA) - Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune met Tuesday with French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez, who is visiting Algeria.

Following the meeting, the French Interior Minister said that an agreement was reached during the visit to reactivate high-level security cooperation between the two countries, with the aim of resuming and strengthening normal security relations in the areas of judicial, police, and intelligence cooperation, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

The French Interior Minister began his visit to Algeria yesterday (Monday), holding talks with his Algerian counterpart immediately upon arrival, before meeting with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Tuesday. (QNA)
