QSE Index Edges Lower at Market Open
Doha, February 16 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index edged down 0.03% at the start of trading on Monday, shedding 3.13 points to 11,465, compared to the previous session's closing.
The market was weighed down by declines across four sectors, led by Insurance (-0.58%), followed by Real Estate (-0.26%), Telecoms (-0.18%), and Industrials (-0.11%). Meanwhile, modest gains were recorded in Transportation (+0.08%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.06%), and Consumer Goods and Services (+0.05%).
by 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 82.240 million, with 33.595 million shares traded in 4,007 transactions. (QNA)
