Manama, February 16 (QNA) - HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank, Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani, took part on Monday in a series of Gulf financial meetings held in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
HE the governor participated in the 86th meeting of the Committee of Governors of Central Banks of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, as well as the 21st meeting of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Payments Company and the 65th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Monetary Council.
The meetings were hosted in Manama under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Participants discussed a number of financial and monetary issues on the agenda and took appropriate decisions, the statement said.
The regular meetings bring together central bank governors and senior financial officials from GCC member states to coordinate monetary policies and advance regional financial integration. (QNA)
