Doha, February 15 (QNA) - Qatar's Ministry of Culture has announced plans to organize a week-long cultural trip to Shanghai for children aged 10 to 15, as part of efforts to broaden young people's global exposure.

The visit, scheduled for March 22–28, is being arranged by the Nomas Center and will include tours of museums, major landmarks and cultural institutions in the Chinese city.

Participants will also visit factories to gain insight into industrial and technological development, alongside interactive activities designed to promote teamwork and independence.

Ghanem Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, director of the Nomas Center, described the program as a comprehensive educational experience aimed at expanding students' horizons while reinforcing their sense of national identity.

Officials say the initiative forms part of wider efforts to equip young people with the skills and awareness needed to engage with a rapidly changing world.
