Doha, February 15 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met on Sunday with recipients of the Qatar Education Excellence Award 2026.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of a ceremony held at the Sheraton Grand Doha Hotel in the capital, Doha. At the start of the meeting, HH the Amir expressed his appreciation for what he described as outstanding group of national talents, praising their achievements as a reflection of dedication and ambition.

His Highness reaffirmed that investment in education and scientific research remains a strategic choice for the state in strengthening a knowledge-based economy.

HH the Amir encouraged the award winners to continue striving for excellence and to contribute actively to the country's ongoing development.

For their part, the recipients expressed their gratitude to HH the Amir, saying the recognition would serve as motivation to pursue further distinction and to continue serving the nation.

The meeting was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with a number of ministers and senior officials. (QNA)
