Winners of HH the Amir Sword for Endurance, Horseback Archery Crowned
Doha, February 14 (QNA) - The competitions for HH the Amir Sword for Endurance and HH the Amir Sword for Horseback Archery concluded Saturday at the Marathon Village in Sealine.
The MRM Stables was crowned with the Golden Sword for Endurance, while the rider Abdulaziz Ali Al Qahtani was crowned with the Golden Sword for Horseback Archery.
HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Eng. Yasser bin Abdullah Al Jamal, crowned the winners with HE President of the Qatar Endurance Club, Sheikh Mohammed bin Nawaf Al-Thani, in attendance, amid broad participation and strong competition.
The first and second ranks were won by MRM Stables amid terrific atmospheres that demonstrated the accumulated expertise and substantial support this sport receives, underlining the constant interest in advancing this time-honored sport on the regional and global stages.
HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Nawaf asserted that HH the Amir Sword for Horseback Archery represents a watershed moment in this season's lineup of events. He noted that this edition showcased the gargantuan development in terms of coaching and organizational levels.
His Excellency touted the performance of riders, whether from Qatar or from the sisterly GCC nations, who competed in powerful competitions, underscoring the full and incredible prepping for this major event.
