Egyptian, Jordanian FMs Stress Gaza Reconstruction, Warn Against Israeli Actions in the West Bank
Cairo, February 13 (QNA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aatti and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi emphasized the importance of implementing the second phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan and ensuring unhindered humanitarian aid.
In a phone call, the ministers highlighted the need to create conditions for early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza, support the Palestinian Authority's full role, and uphold the ceasefire with international monitoring.
They also stressed the importance of maintaining Palestinian territorial unity between Gaza and the West Bank, supporting a two-state solution based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as the capital, and warned that illegal Israeli measures in the West Bank risk destabilizing the region.
The ministers reaffirmed the need to reduce regional tensions, pursue diplomatic solutions, and maintain close Arab coordination to achieve sustainable political settlements that preserve regional security and stability. (QNA)
