2 Killed, 1 Injured in Shooting at South Carolina University
Washington, February 13 (QNA) - Two people were killed and a third injured in a shooting at the University of South Carolina, authorities confirmed on Friday.
In a statement, the university said the gunfire erupted inside an apartment building within a student housing complex, prompting officials to suspend campus activities and restrict access to parts of the university for several hours as a precaution.
State and local law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the shooting. Authorities have not yet released information regarding a suspect, possible arrests, or a motive.
The latest shooting follows two previous incidents at the university, including one at the same student housing complex, which left one person dead and another injured. (QNA)
