Doha, February 11 (QNA) - The Tajik Cultural Week came to close on Wednesday, after drawing a large audience and significant engagement from those interested in cultural affairs.

Organized by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with its counterpart in Tajikistan, the Tajik Cultural Week was held as part of the State of Qatar's vision to foster civilizational dialogue and broaden the horizons of cultural exchange with various countries of the world, as well as consolidate culture as a shared space for human convergence.

On this occasion, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Culture Nasser Al Malki stated that the week achieved its objectives in strengthening cultural ties between Qatar and Tajikistan, particularly by providing the public with an opportunity to learn more about the Tajik artistic and cultural heritage, with its diversity and richness that reflects the depth of history and culture in both countries.

He explained that this event is part of the Cultural Weeks series organized by the Ministry since 2024, which have hosted a number of nations, affirming Qatar's commitment to supporting international cultural initiatives and strengthening its presence as an active center for dialogue and cultural exchange.

The events concluded with an emphasis on the Ministry of Culture's continued commitment to developing the Cultural Weeks season to ensure it remains a vital platform for rapprochement between peoples, utilizing culture as a tool for public diplomacy, and enhancing Qatar's position as a hub for global cultural events.
