Oslo, February 11 (QNA) - King Harald V of Norway and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed boosting bilateral ties, during the latter's visit on Wednesday.

The two sides also touched on a host of regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Abbas briefed the King of Norway on the gravity of the situation in the Palestinian territories, particularly the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing aggression, blockade, and starvation, along with Israeli measures aimed at undermining the Palestinian state's institutions and destroying the prospects for a two-state solution.
