Doha, February 11 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at his office in the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday with HE Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Ali Larijani, on the occasion of his visit to the country.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them, in addition to discussing developments in the region and efforts to reduce tensions and enhance regional security as well as a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and a number of senior officials.

From the Iranian side, it was attended by HE Deputy Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Dr. Ali Bagheri, HE Assistant Foreign Minister Alibek, and a number of senior officials. (QNA)
