Katara Hosts Artistic Performance as Part of Tajikistan Cultural Week in Doha

Doha, February 10 (QNA) - The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara has hosted a distinguished artistic performance as part of the Tajikistan Cultural Week in Qatar. The event was attended by Katara General Manager Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, and HE Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda, along with several diplomats and those interested in cultural affairs.

The performance, held yesterday evening, reflected the deep cultural ties between Qatar and Tajikistan. It featured musical performances and Tajik dance tableaux that showcased the richness and diversity of Tajikistan's cultural heritage.

On this occasion, Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti emphasized the importance of joint cultural events in fostering understanding between peoples, and affirmed that Katara continues to embrace international arts and cultures, contributing to building bridges of civilization and human communication.

For her part, HE Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda delivered a speech expressing her delight at the holding of Tajik Cultural Days in the State of Qatar. She emphasized that this event exhibits a facet of Tajikistan's rich artistic and cultural heritage. She expressed her pleasure that the Qatari public would be introduced to the beauty of the music and arts that reflect the identity and history of the Tajik people.

Her Excellency added that these events represent a key step towards strengthening cultural exchange and rapprochement between the two nations, and affirmed her appreciation for Katara's role in supporting global culture and creating spaces for human and civilizational interaction.

In turn, HE Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State Nur Murad Mohammed Ali, expressed his appreciation and appreciation to the Katara Cultural Village Foundation for its efforts in supporting cultural initiatives and promoting cooperation between peoples, commending its prominent role in hosting international events and highlighting the cultures of the world.

He noted that Katara has become a leading cultural platform that brings together diverse civilizations and contributes to strengthening cultural and human ties between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Tajikistan, emphasizing that hosting the Tajik Cultural Days reflects the depth of friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries.

The ceremony concluded amidst a festive atmosphere filled with music and traditional colors, reflecting the authentic spirit of Tajik culture, which was well-received by the attendees. (QNA)
